How does the process work in Istanbul?
Your Istanbul trip and treatment process will be shaped according to the treatment plan made for you. All these details will be shared with you before you even arrive in Istanbul. Your accommodation can last between 3 to 7 days. In some cases, such as implant procedures, which require two stages, you may need to come back after 3 months.
Below, we are sharing a typical treatment process in Istanbul to give you an idea. Your specific journey will be shared with you as a detailed information package before you arrive in Istanbul.
- After passport control and baggage delivery, please proceed to the airport lobby. The driver will be waiting for you with a “LAVINIA CLINIC” sign.
- Then, we will take you to your hotel with VIP transfer.
- During this journey, your consultant will contact you to explain the process in Istanbul in detail. They will provide information about the hotel (breakfast time, etc.), the pickup time on the second day, meeting point, and more. You can ask your consultant any questions you may have during this time.
- Check-in at your hotel You can request the WI-FI code at the hotel. You will have plenty of free time on the first day. Therefore, you can spend time at the SPA, Turkish bath, or sauna areas in the hotel. Or you can explore the streets of Istanbul. With its attractions like the Grand Bazaar, Galata Tower, Maiden’s Tower, and more, Istanbul is ready to enchant you!
- Depending on the situation, if you arrive in Istanbul early in the day, you may have a preliminary meeting with your doctor, examinations, and tests.
Now, please rest well for the second day!
- You will be picked up from the hotel in the morning (the exact time will be notified to you by phone) and taken directly to the clinic.
- After meeting with the doctors who will treat you and you will prepare for the operation. Your interpreter will be with you during this meeting and afterwards, providing constant support! Before the surgery, it’s a wonderful opportunity to discuss the details of the treatment and ask your questions. (Tip: To ensure you don’t forget anything due to excitement, please write down your questions in advance!).
- Once you are fully prepared, your operation will take place.
Follow-up examination and discharge from the hospital:
- You can be discharged on the same day after the doctor’s check-up.
- Before leaving the clinic, you will be provided with treatment reports and other documents (implant certificates, invoices, etc.) prepared in your own language.
- Don’t forget to schedule your next follow-up appointment before leaving the clinic.
- Afterwards, you will be taken to your hotel with VIP transfer under the supervision of your consultant. Now you can relax. You are free until your follow-up examination.
- Now you have plenty of time to explore Istanbul and enjoy its cuisine. You can get information from your consultant about places to visit and activities to do. Enjoy the taste of Istanbul. (These excursions are not included in the package, and the fees are to be paid by you.)
- For the second follow-up examination, the transfer service will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the clinic. After the follow-up examination, you will be taken back to the hotel.
Departure – Return Flight Day
- You have free time until your return transfer to the airport. Approximately 3-4 hours before your flight departure time, you will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the airport.
